They produce innovative, eco-friendly cleaning and hygiene products for East African businesses in hospitality, healthcare, food processing, and public institutions wiith a focus on quality formulations, expert training, and reliable supply chains.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Associate will spearhead market penetration in Burundi by generating leads, closing deals, and fostering long-term client partnerships. This dynamic role emphasises outdoor sales hustle, technical product knowledge, and exceptional customer service in a competitive B2B landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales Execution
- Prospect and onboard new clients across hotels, clinics, eateries, and corporate facilities.
- Plan and execute territory visits to maximise coverage and sales opportunities.
- Present product benefits with persuasive demos tailored to client needs.
- Meet or exceed personalised sales quotas consistently.
Technical Support
- Perform live product trials showcasing efficacy, safety, and cost savings.
- Educate clients on application techniques, safety protocols, and inventory management.
- Customise recommendations to fit specific operational challenges.
Account Management
- Nurture ongoing relationships with key buyers and end-users.
- Provide proactive after-sales service, including troubleshooting and reorder support.
- Address inquiries and complaints to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Market Analysis & Reporting
- Track daily activities, pipeline progress, and competitive landscape.
- Deliver structured reports on sales performance, trends, and opportunities.
- Contribute insights to refine sales strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Native-level fluency in French, English, and Kirundi.
- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Sales, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 2+ years B2B field sales experience, ideally in consumer goods or technical products.
- Persuasive communicator with demo expertise.
- Self-motivated for independent fieldwork.
- Detail-oriented with solid reporting habits.
- Numerate for basic credit and revenue tracking.
